The art of war is simply the best I have ever seen from anime. Not only that, you will see how strategies, plans, tactics, and executions work in this anime.
Not just a (stupid) battle between robots or a (an unrealistic) robot that can destroy a massive fleet. Why did I mentioned it? The wars in this anime are large scale wars. And not only Gundam series, others might be even worse. This made me realize how poor space battle in Gundam series is. The space battle in this anime is what makes it interesting. While on combat, most of them use swords, spears, and primitive guns. People still use horse and carriage in their daily life. While humans already have spaceship, but their way of living seem very traditional just like in the year of 1500s in Japan. The story itself takes place mostly in space and several planets spead in the galaxy. The space battle in this anime is totally different than other anime I’ve seen until now.
And after that, I realized there was something captured my interest, the space battle. Why the hell, I suddenly watched this again? I was thinking about something after I bought a new Smart TV and for not so specific reason, my mind remembered this anime. Actually, I watched this anime started from episode 38 to 52 back then. That means this anime ended roughly 10 years after I make this post. This anime has 52 total episodes and was aired in Apto March 31, 1995.
